Our Programs
Classroom Grants
Flexible funding for teacher-driven projects that enrich student learning through project-based instruction, STEM, arts integration, and more. Priority will be given to projects reaching special education students, who face heightened risk of depleted resources due to potential federal funding cuts.
Teacher Professional Development
Professional learning opportunities designed to support educators' growth while enhancing student achievement. Priority will be given to developing programs that help teachers earn single-subject credentials in the arts, addressing the growing demand for qualified arts educators following the increased funding from Proposition 28.
Volunteer Training and Placement
A robust volunteer program that trains and places community members in roles such as tutors, mentors, and classroom aides.
Centralized Resource Hub
An accessible digital and physical hub where students, families, and educators can access school supplies and program referrals.
The Sacramento Education Fund (Sac Ed Fund) strengthens public education in Sacramento by expanding access to resources, empowering students, and supporting educators. Through classroom grants, volunteer programs, professional development for teachers, and community resources, we invest in a thriving and equitable future for all.
Our Mission
We envision a Sacramento where every student has the resources and opportunities to thrive, lead, and shape a brighter future because of their excellent public education experience.
